Professional summary

As an English Language professor with over 25 years of experience in tertiary education, including my tenure as Associate Professor of English Language at the University of Khartoum until 2021, I have transitioned into the field of education consultancy since 2017. During this time, I have been actively involved in various projects with international organizations, particularly focusing on research in peace education. I have also supervised students research and worked as an editor, chief editor and reviewer for several journals. Since 2021, my role has evolved into that of a Regional Team Leader for a peace education project. This project emphasizes the importance of research in understanding and implementing effective strategies to empower women and youth in conflict-affected areas as catalysts for peace-building efforts. My experience in academia and research equips me with the necessary skills and insights to drive impactful research initiatives within the realm of peace education.
