Under the patronage of Humanity Organization, the Sudanese American Relief and Development Center (SARC), in cooperation with Al-Raqi Hospital of the National University, organized a Health Week at Al-Affad Camp in Al-Dabba locality, Northern State. The initiative was implemented in coordination with the relevant local authorities, represented by the Ministry of Health, the Humanitarian Aid Commission, and the Camp Administration.
During the campaign, SARC’s medical, technical, and administrative teams received more than 3,500 internally displaced persons (IDPs). General medical examinations were conducted for approximately 2,942 patients, while over 559 cases were referred for advanced diagnostic tests and specialized treatment at public and private facilities in the area.
The patron organization, Humanity, covered the costs of medications and diagnostic tests, in addition to providing meals and refreshments for beneficiaries. The initiative was met with widespread satisfaction and appreciation among camp residents, who expressed their deep gratitude to Humaniti Organization and to all partners and staff who contributed to the success of this major humanitarian effort.
