SARC at SASF Labor day event

On August 31, 2024, the Sudanese American Research and Development Center (SARC) attended and contributed to the Sudanese American Soccer Tournament in Denver, Colorado. This event, held at the Aurora Sports Complex over Labor Day weekend, was organized by the Sudanese American Soccer Federation (SASF) with a theme of "Hope, Healing, and Hospitality." It brought together members of the Sudanese-American community to celebrate culture, unity, and resilience amid challenges in Sudan.

SARC’s involvement helped emphasize the event’s goals of community-building and cultural connection, supporting activities that included soccer matches, cultural showcases, and community outreach efforts. Thousands of attendees participated in the festivities, enjoying traditional food, music, and various family-oriented activities.
