SARC Implements UMR-Sponsored Qurbani Program for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons in Sudan

The Sudanese American Relief Center (SARC), in partnership with United Mission for Relief and Development (UMR), successfully implemented the 2026 Qurbani Program to support refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Sudan.

Sponsored by UMR and coordinated by SARC, the program aims to provide fresh sacrificial meat to vulnerable families affected by conflict, displacement, and economic hardship. The initiative seeks to bring joy and relief to thousands of beneficiaries during Eid Al-Adha while promoting food security and community solidarity.

The distribution targeted displaced families, refugees, widows, orphans, and other vulnerable groups in Khartoum and surrounding areas. The program reflects the strong partnership between UMR and SARC in delivering humanitarian assistance to communities in need across Sudan.

SARC extends its sincere appreciation to UMR for its continued support and commitment to humanitarian action, helping bring hope and dignity to vulnerable populations during one of the most important occasions of the year.

# تنفيذ برنامج الأضاحي للاجئين والنازحين في السودان بدعم من UMR وشراكة مع SARC

نفذ المركز السوداني الأمريكي للإغاثة والتنمية (SARC) برنامج الأضاحي لعام 2026 للاجئين والنازحين في السودان، بدعم كريم من منظمة United Mission for Relief and Development (UMR).

ويهدف البرنامج إلى توفير لحوم الأضاحي للأسر المتأثرة بالنزوح والصراعات والأوضاع الإنسانية الصعبة، بما يسهم في تعزيز الأمن الغذائي وإدخال الفرحة والسرور على الأسر المستفيدة خلال عيد الأضحى المبارك.

واستهدفت عمليات التوزيع الأسر النازحة واللاجئة والأرامل والأيتام والفئات الأكثر احتياجاً في ولاية الخرطوم والمناطق المتأثرة بالأزمة الإنسانية، وذلك في إطار الجهود المشتركة بين UMR وSARC لدعم المجتمعات المتضررة.
